To many people Central America is viewed as highly dangerous and somewhere to be steered clear of. During his first visit to this area, which was to Honduras in 1992, Keith Hern stayed with an ex-pat couple who talked about how beautiful Guatemala is and make a point of stopping there should you come this way again.

It may have taken 19 years but in December 2010, just when the UK was covered in a blanket of snow, he headed off on holiday with his wife and daughter to Guatemala. In this presentation he talks through some of the amazing scenery, friendly people and historic towns and ruins he encountered, illustrated with some of his travel photography.

He includes tips on how to improve your travel photography, along with a couple of examples of issues you need to be aware of.
