Michael's BIOGRAPHY

Michael Gregg has had a diverse 25-year career applying psychological principles to the world of business. He has consulted widely with FTSE 100 companies in initiatives designed to unleash executive potential and secure effective succession.

Michael’s entrepreneurial spirit has also contributed to two successful start-up initiatives, both of which produced commercially successful consulting organizations that realized significant bottom-line returns for their clients. During his ten-year tenure as a member of the European management team for DDI, Michael was influential in steering the organisation to regular double-digit growth.

As a consultant working globally, Michael has served virtually every industry in Europe, America, Asia, and Australasia. His portfolio includes Ford, Shell, BP, Xstrata, Cable & Wireless, Anglo American, Kellogg, IPF, UK Sport, Halliburton, the UN, and many others.

Michael’s Ph.D. research explored the impact of personality on leadership effectiveness.

In recent years Michael has spent increasing time working in global talent management, and has focused on preparing executive for the challenges of working around the world. Using his personal experience of working in Asia, India, the U.S., and Europe, he has helped prepare executives for the cultural challenges faced when taking up assignments in different countries and continents.

Michael also spends time helping executives navigate the first 90 days in a new assignement, when many of the pressures of new environments, new responsibilities, and different political environoments often conspire to derail recently appointed executives.
